북 In the heart of South Korea’s capital city Seoul, one of the most busiest dynamic city’s of the world is Bukhan-san national park. Seen from downtown Seoul, its pinky granite bluffs and cliffs stand majestically behind it. The park is a plethora of trails dotted with Buddhist and Shamanic temples. Day hikes are abound. Most visitors to Seoul will want to climb its highest feature Baegeun-dae 810m so to get a glance back out over the metropolis below. Others may want an even more challenging hike by scaling the steep and spectacular peak of Dobong-san 740m in the northern part. Prices 1 Day Hikes: Fixed at $800USD for an individual. Add $30 for each extra member. Up to four persons max. The price includes a meet up at your Seoul accommodation, trail snacks, taxi fares, and a good meal after the walk. Larger groups please inquire.

Equipment: You need only a light day pack for water, sun cream, windbreaker etc. It can be done in boots or trainers. The hikes are achievable by all sizes and ages. We have taken citizens in their seventies and as young as six. However, a reasonable standard of fitness will offer you a more enjoyable experience on what can be a typically demanding Korean mountain.
